A Night in Dallas

Earlier this week, I had to fly down to Dallas, Texas to go to an appointment and as usual, it was chaos. The flight departed on Monday night so I made sure to get everything packed and ready to go. Everything was going smoothly until I lost track of time and realized I was running late for my flight. Once I got into the airport I was going as fast as I could to make sure that I didn’t miss the flight only to find out it had been delayed and I rushed all the way there for no reason. The flight itself was fine other than the turbulence at the end caused by the storm that was just passing the area. Fortunately, there was a moment of peace and I was able to get to the hotel without any problems and order a pizza before going to bed.

The next day is always busy with the day starting at 6am all the way up until almost midnight. First, I wake up to get ready for the appointment which is at 8 in the morning, and make sure to pack up everything from the hotel because I fly home that same night. Then, my favorite part of the whole 1-day trip is to get In and Out for lunch before the flight since there are no locations in Ohio or the East Coast in general. It’s the one moment on the whole trip that I can sit down and enjoy a little piece of Dallas before the three-hour flight back.

Overall, the trip as a whole is hectic because I have to make my whole schedule fit around it. I was just so excited to be able to sleep in my own bed once I was back and be able to sleep the next day since I didn’t have any morning classes. Hopefully, next weekend I’ll be able to catch up on schoolwork and take a few days to relax/run errands
